It might be good to look into Hitachi Ops Center - Protector AKA HDID(Hitachi Data Instance Director). It covers all the topics mentioned and is really fast. Below and Example of a Snaphost triggered in my environment. Selecting the Job and then opening the attachment I've highlighted in green the command used to create the snap.
Whats nice about HDID, it has a REST APi you can exploit to trigger and minipulate complex dataflows to do various tasks. It also supports all data copy operations, including TC, HUR, GAD, SNAPS, WORM SNAPS ect. Example Below:
