In all the documentation sent with the Storage Advisor ISO's it says shutdown storage advisor but I have yet to find out how to do that is any document. It seems to me if you built the VM from an OVF you have to shutdown the VM and deploy the newer one.

It is not in the user guide or getting started huide in any of the releases. This is from 3.3 of HSA getting stated guide.

5. After the backup file has been downloaded, shut down the v3.3 instance of Storage

Advisor.

■ If you used the Storage Advisor Installer model, delete the Storage Advisor

Docker containers and images on the system before running the new installer.

■ If you used the Appliance model, the VM containing Storage Advisor should be

shut down at this time. You may wish to declare a maintenance window to do

this as the Storage Advisor product will be unavailable until the upgrade is

complete.

Hi Richard, just to clarify, are you currently using HSA 3.3 already?

If you are installing HSA as fresh, I recommend using the latest Ops Center Administrator ISO or OVA. Please advise.

Thanks,

Albert
