 ERROR Couldn't find or create CDE

Hi,

I have pentaho server 7.0 installed using postgreSQL database. This configuration was ok.

Then I follow configuration to change the server authentification throw openldap. When I start the server, PUC is avalaible but users can't log in.

In catalina.out the errors are related to CDE:

ERROR [FileHandler] Couldn't find or create CDE .  dir

org.pentaho.platform.api.repository2.unified.UnifiedRepositoryAccessDeniedException: access denied while creating folder with name "public"

ERROR [CdeEngine] Couldn't find or create CDE base dir.

ERROR [FileHandler] Couldn't find or create CDE /widgets/sample.cdfde  file

ERROR [FileHandler] Couldn't find or create CDE /widgets/sample.wcdf  file

ERROR [FileHandler] Couldn't find or create CDE /widgets/sample.component.xml  file

Anyone has an idea of the problem?

I don't think that's why your login isnt working, are you sure that wasnt there before? I've seen that error in Pentaho 8 CE vanilla install..  Ignored it, all seems fine.

Try enabling the debug ldap logging, restart the server and see what it shows you..

Hi Dan Keeley,

finally I fixed configuration and I am able to login using ldap credentials but these errors still appear in catalina.out log.

Any idea of their meaning? Do you think is ok if I ignored them?
