Hi All,
I am using Pentaho CE version 6. We don't have a db repository or a file based repository for this. We are using the kettle and spoon bat files to create our jobs and running them accordingly and everything is working fine.
Now we decided to use Pentaho CE version 8, when i tried to launch spoot.at file from the same machine I am getting the below error
Java virtual machine launcher error- A java exception has occurred
Can you please help me with this...
Which version of Java are you using? Is there some explanation in the logfile.
PDI8 expect a 64bits version of Java and I think version 8
I was trying to use Java 1.7 with Pentaho 8.0 which was throwing this error. WHen I updated my java to 1.8 anf then Peataho 8.0 started working
