- On the primary HDI navigate to file system you want to access in DR under the resources tab. Click edit
- Expand the option Namespace sharing settings. Make note of the username (typically same as FS name) and create a password. This will be used later on the DR HDI
- If the HDI DR side is not connected to the DR HCP, make sure you do that now
- On the DR HDI navigate to file systems and create a new FS
- In the Create File System dialog box:
- Enter a File system name
- Select Namespace type as file system
- Select Protocol to match what was selected on primary
- Set Content sharing to On (Read-Only). Set Namespace FQDN equal to the URL from the DR namespace that is replicating from primary
- Enter the user and password you created on the primary HDI earlier
- Set a Capacity for cache
- Click test Connection
- Click OK then Apply
You should be all set …
