We are working on a proposal with a prospect that requires having connectors be built for several existing data repositories:

  1. Box
  2. SharePoint
  3. Jive
  4. Slack
  5. Confluence

Is there any known reason that HCI would NOT be able to be used to connect to any of the 5 repositories listed above? And have any connectors been built to work with the 5 repositories listed above?

Thank you.

Jim We ( GSS) professional services have created several connectors listed below one can be used on share points.  On the surface I do not see any technical issue with creating those, but I can not speak to the politics of working with the companies listed.

Custom Connectors:

SQL Server Database – Multiple

(One that scans table rows using SQL queries , another one that executes astored procedure and update a table ).

Oracle Database – Connect to

oracle databases and read metadata.

DB2 Database – Connect to DB2 databases

to read metadata.

SQLite Database - Query SQLite db

files

CMIS Connector – Connect to

multiple Content management systems like Alfresco, OpenText, Oracle WebCenter, SharePoint..etc

Qumulo Connector – Connect to Qumulo NAS device –

File as a stream connector- merge two inputs into one: IE a

csv file to individual objects

IMSJDBC Connector- Connect to Mainframe IMS

SAPHANAJDBC- connect to SAPHANA

SnowFlakeJDBCConnector- Connect to snowflake

In addition, our partner Audax Labs has also created a couple of connectors and stage plugins. Please take a look into the partner presentation below which we have received recently:

https://hcpanywhere.hitachivantara.com/a/Jid6p1YnfZk0J3qm/Audax%20Hitachi%20presentation%20v%201.9.pdf?l

There are plugins listed like,

Jira

Service Now

OCR

Sentia

Product Intelligence

Lotus Notes.

The OCR plugin is also available via this Community site: Sample HCI Plugin (OCR)

These connectors and stages are samples in most cases and can be used for POCs or demo purposes. Audax Labs will be able to produce production versions as well in a very short time frame. Of course, this has then be payed for. There is no consolidated pricing agreement in place at the moment with Audax Labs. But if you contact Victoria Gonzalez from the EMEA PS Data Intelligence Practice, she will be able to help, because she went through the purchasing and selling process for the Jira connector in Spain.

Hope this helps.

From the reference of UBS, it seems that Audax Connector will be used for IBM CM. Is there any place to download the connector for IBM CM?

This connector is still a work in progress. It was built for a POC @ UBS. It will get productized later this year.
