 How to automate the Pentaho Server EE deployment?

I have been tasked with building a clean automated patchable Pentaho server configuration. We need to be able to build duplicate copies of this config via IaC. Clearly the instructions for 9.2 are pretty problematic. We run a SaaS platform so we don't have the option to install servers with X windows installed. Etc. Etc. Anyone have a good pointer on where to start?

Sadly I have now found the docker build files and k8's release stuff we asked our Pentaho sales and engineering team for 2 months ago. Even sadder we are committed to a vm hosted solution at this late point so I am going to take the steps from the container to automate a vm installer. I feel like I am traveling the wrong direction on this timeline.
