Hi,
I am interested in integrating the D3 chart in the Pentaho CDE dashboard so I decided to follow this tutorial to create the visualization from the API. However, it seems that I can't get the component to work on CDE dashboard (it only works on Analzyer)
Steps I did:
1. Do everything as suggested in tutorial (step by step).
2. Download the CDE dashboard from Github as stated in the tutorial
3. Upload the dashboard file to my local Pentaho repository (localhost:8080)
4. Open the CDE dashboard. It shows error as shown in the image below
The visualization works fine in the Analyzer but not in the CDE. I'm not sure what is the correct Visualization ID to use here or maybe some other properties is not correct.

When you deployed the visualization under Karaf folder, the tgz file had a version. Something like pentaho-visual-samples-bar-d3-0.0.1.tgz.
So, your visualization ID in CDE should be : pentaho-visual-samples-bar-d3_0.0.1/Model
