 ServiceNow ITOM scanning to SANnav management portal

Servceow Team wants to scan all SAN switches in our infra to update the CMDB records. We have got SANnav for switch management and all our Brocade 620 and 630 switches are configured in SANnav. IS there a way ITOM server can commnunicate with SANnav ? ANy steps, or guidance is appreciated.

Hi

 

There might be a better way. But I would use the Rest API of Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer, to pull the information required and build my tables in service now. You can also find connected assets as well as performance metrics this way.

Thanks for the inputs. The problem is we have limited switches on Ops Center Analyzer (single infra), whereas we have integrated all switches in SANnav (multi projects). I have to use SANnav API I doubt, but not sure how this works with ITOM scanning. Never done before and any leads is appreciated

As per Hitachi, SANnav is not yet supported for ITOM as its predecossor BNA :( . Lets wait for the future releases, hope we will have a feature soon in coming versions
