Embedded SMI-S Provider on Service Processor(SVP) for Hitachi VSP is giving SAN details (like Disk Drive, Storage Pool, Storage Volumes, Array Group, DP Pool). How can I get NAS details??

Questions1. Does NAS has a separate IP Address.2. Can we fetch NAS details using SMI-S if so how to configure it

3. If not how can we get monitoring data for NAS

4. Hitachi VSP architecture can be very helpful.

The SMI-S adapters for Hitachi storage do not include support for the NAS module in VSP G and VSP F models.

The NAS module can be configured with several IP addresses for both management and file serving, all separate from the SVOS management IP addresses.  The NAS module also has a supported REST API which can be used to query configuration and status programmatically.

The NAS documentation is downloadable from the Support portal, https://support.hitachivantara.com, or accessible from the System Management Unit (SMU) GUI.
