We would like to hear from anyone who is using a HNAS FTP/SFTP Feature for file transfers.

We currently are using a 3rd Party SFTP Solution. Very soon we will use a HNAS as storage / file server eventually replacing the existing 3rd Party SFTP Server(after the migration).

We run a lot of file transfers to and from within and outside business. But with the HNAS how it will be done, so the big challenge will be; How should we handle file transfers to/from HNAS in the future ?

Will HNAS can act as a full fledged MFT(Managed File Transfer) ?

Thank You

HNAS supports FTP, but I would hope that this is not the only intended use case.

There is currently no active solution/support for SFTP and HNAS. In the past an appliance had been created, but the underlying Ubuntu OS is End-of-support-life and there are no firm plans to move forward with updating the appliance or incorporating into core HNAS functionality.

Thanks for the reply Al Hagopian.

Please advise, if HCP Anywhere will suffice this requirement.  What is your take on that.

I read in HCPAnywhere datasheet that it does perform sharing files-folders across enterprise within and external collaborators.

Then second question will be , will it support a 3rd party MFT migration to it ?

Thanks for your inputs.
