I have reports published to BI Server and those reports are fine when i run it locally on my pentaho report designer however the problem starts when i published the report in the server.
The parameter refresh is very poor. parameters are dependent on each other (query based) therefore the values for the second parameter depends on the selected value of the first parameter.
The query source for the parameter is fine, doesn't even takes 1 second. however the performance in the server is different it takes 8 to 10 secs i don't know why. I'm starting to think that its a server side issue.
Our database is oracle, pentaho uses tomcat as webserver.
Just an addition the reports have 8 sub reports and passing 8 parameters from main report to sub report...
I made some research and i found out result set cache., but i don't know how to enable in ehcache.xml., can someone help please..
