    Hi Team,

    I am glad to join the community which helps/understand the blockers the user faces across globe using the Pentaho data Integration.

    Myself working at Myntra, used PDI for data processing and ingesting to downstream system.
    As we came across the compliance issue to not store the PII related MYSQL connection passwords in plain text (jdbc.properties).

    We are urged to use the encrypted password for all our Mysql connections used in out org.
    Can any of the folks here know how to decrypt the DB connection password from jdbc.properties in PDI version 5 ?
