We know from IDC that 90% of all data was created in the last 2 years and it will grow by a factor of two over the next 5 years.

As an example, mission-critical workload has expanded over time starting from ERP systems to web applications to real time workloads with actionable insight to data. This requires more external block storage capacity, as well as file and object storage in the data center and across the public cloud.

Data at scale put pressure on data protection, data continuity, point-in-time recovery, ransomware, data sovereignty and compliance solutions etc. How is this affecting your decision to where to store data?

Let's start a discussion by providing an outside-in perspective on where you're likely to store your data.
