    Good morning everyone, I'm looking to create a new horcm file for a new g700 array at primary and secondary locations. I have several horcm files already that I've added to over the years but this is the first new creation I've ever done. I have my new horcm created (ex. 970) but am not familiar with raidscan and how to get the HORCM cmd_device volume (ex BF:00) to convert to the primary/secondary volumes shown below. Thanks for any help.

    \.\Volume{b4ae5780-0000-0000-0000-010000000000} \\.\Volume{b4ae5787-0000-0000-0000-010000000000}

    HORCM_MON
    #ip_address service poll(10ms) timeout(10ms)
    10.47.4.23 horcm970 1000 3000

    HORCM_CMD
    #dev_name
    BF:00

    HORCM_LDEV
    #dev_group dev_name Serial# CU:LDEV MU#
    #g700 urdev1 448570 h1

    Hello Edward,
    Navigate to correct HORCM driectory to issue below command to find out CMD device.
    C:\HORCM\etc>raidscan -x findcmddev hdisk0,100

    Command Output will be something like this...

    cmddev of Ser# XXXXXX = \\.\PhysicalDrive15
