What is the maximum recommended volume size that can be created to be attached to ESXi host running with version 8U3?

    Hello

Please see the Host attachment guide:

    Here are the Volumes Guide:

My personal opinion; Like all performance questions, it depends. It's always good to have a couple of volumes in stead of one big volume that's owned by one CPU(while the rest sit idle). So depending on your capacity. I would divide the total capacity by at least 128 in an enterprise environment. This is to make sure I spread the love a little. Obviously if this customer has 2/4 servers that wont make sense and you'll probably not reach the capability of the E590 anyways(ease and simplicity is probably needed more).

    Hello,

The maximum recommended volume size for an ESXi 8U3 host depends on HP® Official Site hardware specifications, storage type, and VMware best practices. Generally, a 2 TB volume is a good starting point, but consider factors like data size and storage utilization.
