Blog Post created by Rick Kellogg Employee on Dec 2, 2014

We are pleased to announce the general availability of the Hitachi Unified Compute Platform (UCP) 4000E for both VMware vSphere or Microsoft Private Cloud, which offer enterprise-class density, availability and performance at an attractive mid-range price point. These new solutions offer increases in both market opportunities for the enterprise and mid-market spaces and margin potential for our TrueNorth Partners.

Hitachi UCP 4000E features a simplified architecture utilizing highly reliable Hitachi Data Systems CB500 blade servers, Cisco 5548 switches and either Hitachi Unified Storage (HUS) 130 or HUS-VM storage. The new converged solutions also comes with Hitachi Unified Compute PlatformDirector, a cloud infrastructure management system for monitoring, provisioning and remediating virtual and physical infrastructure.

Simplified service implementation programs and training will be available over the next few months to enable Partners to rapidly reach higher Focus Partner Program levels and deliver on the value of Hitachi UCP 4000E.
