Greetings from the Hitachi booth @ Oracle Open World 2015!
As I post this, Helio Castroneves, who drives the Hitachi Indy car for the Penske race team is in our booth, #1501, signing autographs, and the line is wrapping around - come stop by!
This morning, HDS hosted our customers and partners at a Lunch-&-Learn. Steve Cance, Vice President of Global UCP Sales and Jim Beckman, Vice President of Global Alliances for HDS opened the event with an overview of HDS' corporate vision of Social Innovation and how our cloud-ready portfolio of UCP 6000 for Oracle RAC solutions enable our customers to increase their business agility, become a more data-driven organization and get the most out of their Oracle database investments.
Tom Stutesman, HDS Global Director of Oracle Solutions followed with an overview and live demo of the Hitachi Database Infrastructure Evaluation Tool, or DIET. DIET helps our customers optimize the infrastructure that supports their Oracle databases, improve performance, and in many cases, illustrates how they can reduce the overall cost of their Oracle infrastructure.
Tom, and our best Oracle experts @HDS will be in the booth all week giving live demos of DIET - bring your own Oracle AWR reports, and we'll show you how to put your Oracle infrastructure on a DIET, right on the spot! Thomas Stutesman
