The dedicated servers run Oracle Database 12c Release 1 with the Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) option. The operating system is Oracle Linux 7.2.

  This is a high level view of the tested architecture for the Hitachi Unified Compute Platform 6000 for Oracle Real Application Clusters on Two Nodes Using Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform G600 with NAS Modules and Hitachi Compute Blade 2500 solution. The validated environment implements Hitachi Unified Compute Platform 6000 for Oracle Real Application Clusters on two nodes using Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform G600 with NAS modules. In this configuration, a Hitachi Compute Blade 2500 and  520H B4 half-width server blades with Intel Xeon E5-2699v4 processor CPUs are used.  High-level concepts covered in the white paper:

The storage architecture used for the solution is documented in the white paper. It takes into consideration Hitachi Data Systems and Oracle recommended practices for the deployment of database storage design. A high level view of the storage architecture is shown below.
