    Hi,

in our spring boot MVP we try to integrate the pentaho Reporting engine 9.4.0.0-343.
The report is rendered well except the charts. They are not shown. That also lasts for the sample reports.

Do you have any idea what could be the problem here?

    I also create a github issue: https://github.com/pentaho/pentaho-reporting/issues/1652

    Best,

    Karsten

    Hello there,

The Spring Boot application might lack the necessary libraries for rendering charts within the Pentaho reports. There might be configuration errors in the Pentaho Reporting Engine or the integration with Spring Boot. In rare cases, the data used for the charts might be corrupt or incompatible with the chart type.

Ensure your Spring Boot application includes the required JAR files for JFreeChart. You can find dependency information in the Pentaho documentation or search for relevant libraries in the Spring Boot ecosystem. Review the Pentaho Reporting Engine configuration for any settings related to chart generation. Consult the Pentaho documentation for specific configuration details related to your version (version 9.4.0.0-343). maxim web time clock

If the first two steps don't resolve the issue, consider the data being used for the charts. Check the Pentaho server logs for any error messages related to chart generation. These logs might provide more specific clues about the cause of the problem.

    Best Regards,
