Subject: New Hitachi Vantara Document Web Site missing critical feature
Thank you for your feedback, Andrew.
The new documentation portal facilitates access to PDF documents through the existing Library facet, which is available for the majority of our products. Use the illustration in the attachment to access a product documentation library.
We are working on an enhancement to bring our product library up to par with the old doc portal. This enhancement will enable the display of documents, giving users the flexibility to select and download either individual PDF files or the complete archive.
Should you have any further feedback or suggestions, please feel free to reach out to me directly or to the Technical Publications team at doc.feedback@hitachivantara.com. Your input is greatly valued and contributes significantly to the continuous improvement of our documentation portal.
Thanks,
Jyoti Ramchandra

Subject: New Hitachi Vantara Document Web Site missing critical feature
Hi
The new Hitachi Vantara Document Web Site is missing a critical feature
[] OLD document / knowledge web-site
[] docs stored on back-end as PDFs
[] customer could view docs online
[] customer could simply download original PDF for offline use on systems that aren't on the public internet
[] customer could print doc from browser
[] NEW document web-site
[] docs stored on back-end as PDFs
[] customer could view docs online
[] customer can print via browser
It is no longer possible for customers to simply download original PDF for offline use on systems that aren't on the public internet
Printing via browser to PDF using the MS print-to-PDF-driver to convert the on-screen HTML back to PDF is not a substitute
for simply ( and speedily ) downloading the original high quality PDF.
This should be a super easy to fix .
Thanks
Andy
