I notice that the F1500 data sheet shows support for only FMD HD. But I've heard that it also supports FMD DC2. Can someone please clarify?
In the case of an upgarde from G1000 to G1500,
FMD DC2 and FMD HD can co-exist and also 7TB FMD HD can spare a 6.4TiB FMD DC2.

VSP F1500 doesn't support 1.6TB, 3.2TB, and 6.4TB FMD DCs.
First I was told that it's possible to mix and match the 6,4TB FMD DC2 with the 7TB FMD HD because the're physically the same and the only adjustment was made to BASE10 capacity measurement and with that to be in (marketing name convention) line with our competitors. Last week on a training I heard that the DC2 is really different because it has less DWPD. I can imagine if you have a new F1500 you want the newest drives. Is it possible in a case of an upgrade from G1000 to (with 6,4TB FMD-DC2) G1500 that both types (added FMD HD after upgrade) co-exist?
