We are using Pentaho Data Integration v8.3 to access the hive data warehouse of the CDP cluster. The hive of the CDP cluster needs to be resolved through kerberos, and we have not yet found a good solution to this problem. Not an answer to your version or CE issues. But Pentaho 9.5 EE is CDP certified and uses Kerberos.
