We tried upgrading our Linux Pentaho CE server from v9.2 to v9.4 from a clean install of v9.4. The server came up cleanly, we are able to log in and browse files. But when we try to run a transform in background on the server or load a transform into PDI via this server, we get this error:
- Unable to load transformation with id [org.pentaho.repo.extension.RepositoryOpenSaveExtensionPoint$ $Lambda$ 447/1622066826@1b7404c1] Client received SOAP Fault from server: exception while getting version information for file with id "58060fa2-3a1b-4e85-9d77-b58c8a886b34" and version id "null" - Reference number: f826d844-a394-438e-bf05-6f7f947c2065 Please see the server log to find more detail regarding exact cause of the failure.
To make things odd, when I installed Pentaho v9.4 on a Windows machine, I can run and open the transform without that error.Has anyone seen this and have a solution or ideas as to what is happening? Thanks,Steve
Hi Steven, are you using default HSQL storage?More information can be in tomcat/logs/pentaho.log or tomcat/logs/localhost-<date>.log. There would be stacktrace of error.
Petr,I did forget to include that information. We are using PostgreSQL as our repository server.Attached is the relevant section of the log. I am not a Java guru or have even looked at Pentaho's code, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
This looks like version problem of file.Check if you can download file from repository via web or run directly in Browse Files. Or try upload trans again and replace file in directory.
Petr,Thank you. In digging into the log more, we realized that the pentaho-solutions/system/jackrabbit/repository.xml file had an error in it.
pentaho-solutions/system/jackrabbit/repository.xml
Good news. :-) You are welcome.
