Upon upgrading PDICE 9.4.00-343, It has come to my attention that, the Microsoft Excel Writer/Input/Output can only be used if the files are based locally on the machine. It would not look at the files which are stores remotely on a mapped drive. Am I missing something to configure? As I do recall I was able to update files which are saved on Network Drives on previous version.
I don't have problem with attached remote share folders (S: and Z: is shared folder). I have Windows 7.
You can try set path exactly as String, if this will work.
Thank you for sharing this, do you mind sharing the version of your PDI? Am I missing something any jar files?
Sorry for no reply. I tested on v9.4.
I checked on v9.3 too:
IMHO it's not about jar on classpath, local disks are resolved over standard Java API.
