 Transfer a file using HTTP step fails in 9.2

Hello,

My company has a solution that utilizes the Transfer a file using HTTP to pass parameters to an endpoint (a .prpt file) on a pentaho/reporting server and save the output locally. This solution worked without issue in all Pentaho 7.X and 8.X versions. When the server and software was upgraded to Pentaho 9.2 it doesn't work anymore. The output files being returned display the XML for the Pentaho User Console. 

Does anyone know if some authentication mechanisms changed across versions?

Hello 

I am having a similar issue also but still with version 7.0. 

The file returned is an html with the Login screen (see atchament).

Does anyone knows if the authentication or the http request must be set to POST/GET/.... and if so, how?

Hi Jose,

HTTP job entry using basic authentication. So check if your server supports this type of authentication.
