Sergey, There are different methods available to reset the BMC to the factory defaults. One is via CLI, and reflashing the BMC firmware would be another option. I suggest opening a case with GSC so they can review the data and advise you accordingly. Thanks Golthier

Eric, What Hitachi server model exactly are you referring to? Some of the Hitachi server models don't support ESXi 7.x. Our Hitachi Advanced Server models do support ESXi 7.x. Peter,  There are two ways you can reset the password.  Method 1 - via IPMI Method 2 - by reflashing the BMC firmware I suggest reaching out to Global Support Center so we can provide you with the exact steps. Thanks Golthier

Hi Christian, The error mentioned above is very generic and it could be caused by a number of issues and unfortunately, it doesn't provide much information on what could be causing the issue. Not sure if I understood your question but theres few places you can see the WWPN i.e. in the CB500 web GUI, CLI, HBA BIOS. By running the command shown in the example below (blade 0) you should be able collect the info youre looking for. $show wwn current -b 0 As this is LPAR Id expect to see the WWN ...
