VSP Gx00 scalability limitations of non-DB60 configs

Not a question but a heads up.

Please note that on the VSP Gx00 family the max drive count is only attainable when using DB60 Drive Boxes exclusively.

But the DB60s are 40.5" / 1029 mm deep and 198 lbs / 90 kg which is a problem for some 3rd-party cabinets.

For extreme examples:

G200 can support up to (252) LFF drives using DB60s    drops to only (96) using DBLs

G400 can support up to (480) LFF drives using DB60s    drops to only (192) using DBLs

G600 can support up to (720) LFF drives using DB60s    drops to only (288) using DBLs

G800 can support up to (1440) LFF drives using DB60s    drops to only (576) using DBLs

G200 can support up to (264) SFF drives using DB60s    drops to only (192) using DBSs

G400 can support up to (480) SFF drives using DB60s    drops to only (384) using DBSs

G600 can support up to (720) SFF drives using DB60s    drops to only (576) using DBSs

G800 can support up to (1440) SFF drives using DB60s    drops to only (1152) using DBSs

For intermixed tray configurations the max drives supported varies by the explicit mix of Drive Boxes deployed.
