Is there any special options needed to set to enable SCSI persistent reservations on VSP G600?
We need to set up Microsoft 2012 failover cluster on esxi 5.5 U3 wirtual machines, and cluster validation fails on "Validate Disk Failover" with message:
"Node cl acquired the SCSI reservation on Test Disk 0, onlined the disk and read data from a file on the disk, but failed in its attempt to release SCSI reservation. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error."
Volume mapped to hosts are GAD volumes with Host mode option 25 enabled.
There is also warning:
"Failure issuing call to Persistent Reservation REGISTER. RESERVATION KEY 0x10000000b SERVICE ACTION RESERVATION KEY 0x10000000b for Test Disk 1 from node cl.vsp.local: The requested resource is in use.
Test Disk 0 does not support SCSI-3 Persistent Reservations commands needed by clustered storage pools that use the Storage Spaces subsystem. Some storage devices require specific firmware versions or settings to function properly with failover clusters. Contact your storage administrator or storage vendor for help with configuring the storage to function properly with failover clusters that use Storage Spaces."
In "Validate Storage Spaces Persistent Reservation" check.
