Is a connector for MS Exchange?
I saw on the HCI demo movie there is possibility to connect to email system while I couldn’t find it in docs.
You need to define a Content Class that matches the fields you are looking for in the HCP annotation. Then drop a Content Class Extraction stage into your pipeline that uses the Content Class you defined. This will trigger HCI to read the annotation, parse it according to the CC defined, and produce the necessary fields for you to index.
The HCP annotation stream is called HCP_customMetadata:default for the “default” annotation. If you have more than one annotation then substitute the name ‘default’ for the annotation name.
I am also attaching a bundle that includes a content class and a pipeline example that uses it. You should be able to import the bundle and use it. Note: the CC is for HDI metadata but you can modify it to suit your needs.
We have a connector to HCP, so if your Exchange journals emails to HCP – HCI can index them.
I connected HCI to HCP where I have mainly two types of documents – audio files and XML docs.
I have for most of them custom meatadata files – XML files stored in HCP as annotations.
I imported data to HCP using HCP connector.
I would like for HCI to
1) import metadata from metadata files associated with content files and
2) discovers fields from XML files (annotations in HCP).
How to do this?
At the moment it looks like HCI recognized and imported only metadata files where there was only information that authentication failed (like below)
But didn’t import metadata files where there were a lot of real metadata files.
I didn’t see any options in HCP connection for metadata files
