Want to run the plugin-test harness on Mac, but it doesn't work as expected and gives an error:
readlink: illegal option -- f
usage: readlink [-n] [file ...]
How do I run the plugin-test harness on a Mac?
Yes! On a Mac, you may need to first update the "plugin-test" script for Mac support.
Replace the following line:
BASEDIR=$(readlink -f $(dirname "$0"))
With the following:
BASEDIR=$(cd "$(dirname "$0")" && pwd -P)
This allows the plugin-test script to operate properly using "pwd" instead of "readlink", which does not support the "-f" switch on the Mac.
This change has been already made in the plugin-test script for post 1.1.X releases.
