Hi All,

Sorry to bother, I’m a bit stuck. First time I’ve asked a question and I hope you can help please. We have a 3090 HNAS platform.

I want to query the contents of a rather large CIFS Filesystem (50TB). The Filesystem hosts several thousand folders, one for each employee. We refer to these as our Y:Drives. Pathname is \\hqnas05\ydrive\pin    where
pin is our employee number.

Our Users store .pst files from Exchange on their y drive.
I’ve had a request to  find out how much space is consumed by these .pst files, one total number would do.

I’ve considered using WinDirStat but I think the search will take a very long time. I  wondered if
there was a better way to do this , perhaps a special Hitachi indexed searching facility  that might be able to gather
this information more easily?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Regards

Chas
