User's email address - auto deployment?

is it possible to auto deploy or pre-define user's email addresses from AD instead of letting the user define it by them self when connecting to the user portal for the first time?

When we migrate 33k users for instance, how can we ensure that the user does not have to put his email manually in when connecting first time to the portal?





Also, which alerts will be sent to the user if the following tick box is turned on?
