I have two input excel files and i need to sumup the values in both of them and output to final excel file. Please suggest
With as little information and context you are providing, one of the possible answers would be:
use Microsoft Excel Input step to read the files, the Group by step to calculate the sumup for each file, and if needed, previous Sort rows steps so the Group by works correctly, the Append streams step to join the information of both Excel files, with a previous Select values step if needed so both streams of data have the same structure, and a final Microsoft Excel Output step.
This is not the only answer to your question, but you can try beginning with this.
Also, if you are talking about a complementary datasets... with same key(s) column(s) and diff metrics to agg (or even same metrics)... you can use 2 xls streams with either:
- Ordered (based on key) join;
- Stream lookup;
And resort to a calculator+agg steps
