I can see no reason at the moment why we would need to rescind this, barring a radical change in how these sites are used in the future. I was very tempted to blanket ban .ru sites as well, but decided there was actually a chance (if remote) that a Rusian customer might try to register.
If this seems to be working without complaint after a few weeks I will back out the rest of the [i]name[/i].info entries in the ban list, otherwise it gets a bit unwieldy.
