I've been experiencing some performance issues recently on our AMS1000, where when we do a large load into our Oracle database it causes slowness to other applications accessing the storage. The oracle storage is on dedicated RAID groups, and even so, the IOPS on the RAID group only spike up to 300IOPS, average around 150IOPS. What I am seeing during this time though is the CPU Busy Rate on both controllers is spiking to 90%+, I can only assume that this is the source of contention for my other applications trying to access the SAN. With IOPS so low, why would the CPU Busy Rate spike the way it is?
