Greetings,

While I am waiting for our account manager to give me updates on software, has anyone tried using any HDS software on Windows 2008?

I am quite interested in this as I am sure management would like to bolt headlong into 2008 without doing long term risk assestment of a new operating system.

Oddly enough Microsoft seem to have actually come to the conclusion that organisations around the world are actually using Fibre Channel SAN and technologies such as iSCSI and DAS are not the main players in the game.  So they have introduced a storage manager into 2008.  If only I could figure out what it all means.  Also, Microsoft seems to not really understand that 20 TB is not the limit of storage in the world...
