Hi all,Has anybody installed SATA disks internal in a USP V? If so are you aware of any best practices when it comes to CLPR config and backend looping etc? Many thanks.

On a side note, has anyone tried those solid state drives? I gather they must muck about with cache in the strangest ways.I must ask my rep for a good deal on SATA then.. I have to purchase some new disk for our Copans and was gob smacked at the cost of SATA in them. Seriously outrageous cost!! They have to be joking to even consider putting the cost forward..
33K IOPS on RAID5 (7+1) SSD raid groups....thats all i got for now, gathering more info.
33K IOPS on RAID5 (7+1) SSD raid groups....thats all i got for now, gathering more info.I'm lloking at a USP V with 80 x 146GB 15K FC to provide 750GB of capacity requiring 16,000 IOPs.So a single SSD Array Group can provide enough IOPs and some to spare. What size drives do you have and what usable capacity did you get from the Array Group at R5 7+1?
