As I understand, the new 2TB SAS drives do not have the "verify-after-write" slowdown like SATA drives had? Are there any other performance issues that I might have overlooked (aside from the obvious 15k vs 7.2k rpm)? Looks like a no-brainer for backups, archives etc.
