We just did a HDS VSP POC using Windows IOmeter and Linux iometer at the same LUN type and configuratoin.
But, it is interesting that we got very much diferent IOPS values.
For Windows ( Windows 2008_R2I) iometer benchmark, the max. IOPS can reach 110K.
For Linux (V3.4 & V6.1)  IOmeter benchmark, the max. IOPS can reach only 3K.

POC configuration:
(1) Server :
       - Windows: Windows 2008_R2
       - Linux: Lnux 3.4 & 6.1

(2) SAN switch: Brocade 300 (8 Gbps ports)

(3) Storage : HDS VSP
      8 Arrary Groups for Windows : 200G SSD HDD * 32  (RAID_10 (2+2) * 8)
(one LUN per one array group)
      8 Arrary Groups for Linux  : 200G SSD HDD * 32  (RAID_10 (2+2) * 8)
(one LUN per one array group)

Please shed the light on me how to increase IOPS under Linux iometer benchmark?

Thank you for support in advance.
