Number of data disks in a PG on HUS100

I was told that for HUS100 it is best to use PG's with an even number of data disks i.e. RAID5 6+1, 8+1,... instead of using an odd number of data disks i.e. RAID5 5+1, 7+1,...

Apparently it is related to performance but I am unable to find something that backs this statement in manuals, whitepapers,...

Anyone got some insight or a light to shed?

Many thanks :-)
