Hi.

When attaching LUNs from HDS HUS 110 to an HNAS 3090 2-node-cluster, i see them as System Drives like expected.

hnas-node2:$ sd-list

Device  Status  Alw  Cap/GB  Mirror   In span                       Span Cap

------  ------  ---  ------  -------  ----------------------------  --------

   0    OK      No      250   Pri

   1    OK      No      250   Pri

   2    OK      No      250   Pri

   3    OK      No      250   Pri

When i now try to "Allow Access" to them, the SMU tells me the following:

"The server or cluster doesn't have a licence for this storage vendor."

hnas-node2:$ sd-allow-access 0

The server or cluster doesn't have a licence for this storage vendor.

The Events show the following:

"The request to license SCSI device 0 was denied : vendor HITACHI is not supported or licensing is disabled"

So how can i allow access to LUNs from a Hitachi Unified Storage to a Hitachi NAS?

The HUS is connected directly via Fibrechannel.

Thanks.

A.
