Why Superflush settings is recommended only for RAID-5 and not for other RAID structures?
Where did you get that information?
Superflush is recommended for RAID5 and RAID6 and can be used with RAID1, RAID10 to drive larger IO's to the storage.
The main purpose of Superflush is to write full stripes so the storage controller does have to perform read - modify - write. It is primarily for RAID5/6 - but a side benefit is that it allows HNAS to submit larger writes to the storage, which is beneficial for performance which is why it can be used for RAID1/10.
