Unable to delete S-VOL Volumes with access attribute

Unable to delete S-VOLs after pair deletion.Received below error when trying to delete the Volumes through HDvM CLI & Storage Navigator GUI.

 

KAIC90083-E Device Manager Server Exception:

    error code= 7639

    error level= 2

    error source= StorageManager.DeleteVirtualVolume

    description=The LU "36867(00:90:03)" cannot be deleted because it is protected.

 

We have changed the access attribute to Read/Write from Protect, but its still the same. Also we did performed below, but no luck.

 

  1. Found no Pair Relationship with P -VOL
  2. Changed the Attribute from “Protected” to Read-write
  3. Have cleared the reservation
