Recently we had very slow performance on our HNAS environment. I could not find a direct correlation to what may have caused that since all the stats were ok. Disk latency, CPU, FPGA, I/OPs, Cache was all normal. I did however notice that running bossock fibers was at its maximum on the performance graph. Does anybody have a better explanation on what is a bossock fiber and how that afects storage performance? I have looked in manuals and on-line searches but haven't found anything clear cut. I did notice that if I run the bt active | grep "LOCK" command I do see some tasks come back as locked.
