Tuning manager on redhat

Hello,

I setup a new instance of command suite on redhat linux. The storage array is VSP. I created an instance of raid agent.  I run the utility to check the instance and here is what I get.

./jpctdchkinst -inst 12345

KAVF18800-I The verification of the agent instance settings will now start. (instance name=12345)

[Instance parameters]

Storage Model : Lightning/USP/USP V/VSP/HUS VM

Command Device File Name : /dev/sda

Unassigned Open Volume Monitoring : N

Mainframe Volume Monitoring : N

[Check result]

An error occurred during access to the storage system. (name=attachcmddev, rc=2)

KAVF18801-I The verification of the agent instance settings will now end.

I am not sure what is going on here. The device /dev/sda is a command device. If I run jpctdlistraid, it lists /dev/sda and detects the array correctly as VSP. I think becuase of this , the array doesn't show up in tuning manager. Does anyone who what could be reason here.

Thanks

Moeen
