hi,

we have Red hat with oracle cluster setup (3 nodes). Currently we want to migrate the data from old VSP to new VSP. The migration technique will be using Oracle tool, where customer cant afford a downtime if we proceed with our storage migration technique. The requirement is to assign the new disk from new VSP as equivalent size of old VSP. Once assigned, Red Hat OS not able to detect the new disk instead they ask for reboot. We reboot the 1st node however it fail to bring up. Red Hat admin came over and they did kernel recompilation so that the server able to see both disk? Beside kernel recompilation, is there any way we can scan the new disk for the rest node?
