Is there some easy way to display the total number of files and folders served by an HNAS cluster?
CCI preferred, but GUI OK too.
You can kind of do it with Virtual Volumes on the HNAS. It'll tell you how many files exist in a VVOL.
Another way would to use a 3rd party software like NTP QFS. It'll give you a count of files & folders.
Check out the command tree-info - check out the man page and you will see some examples.
But this is dev level command and therefore cannot be run by a normal user.
there is also the suite of commands: file-access-count-xxx
it will tell you what hot files are accessed on the FS during a monitoring period.
