We have a DR site with some servers up an running all the time for immedite failover. The replication is done via HUR and we use CAW volumes for testing. historically the AIX systems have used 2 sets of ports. One where the svols of hur are mapped, another where the the caw volumes are mapped. Two different zonesets are used so that AIX only sees one set of disks at a time. I'm told the issue is that the caw volumes have the same pvid as the hur svols and this keeps AIX from bringing any of the volumes online. I feel like there are better solutions than this. Anyone replicating AiX care to share how you do something like this.
