Best way to wipe an AMS1000 for decommissioning

I have an AMS 1000 that is almost ready to come out of production.  We will likely move it to a lab environment outside our secure data center - so prior to doing that I need to make sure all prod data has been irrecoverably wiped off - we usually accomplish this by zeroing out the drive or direct attached array, but given the size of AMS, this is not practical.  Is there an easier way of accomplishing this?
